Is there anything I can do to help the photographer get better photos?

Yes, read the literature that is sent to you and fill anything out as best you can. There is some required paperwork such as the contract that is required and some paperwork  that is optional. Just remember that by giving us more information the better your photos will be, however as long as we know when, where, and what time, you will still get great photos, but with a well planned itinerary, we can be better prepared to ensure there are few if no missed shots. We would at least like to verbally go over the optional items with you when we meet.  You will also be given some verbal and printed tips on how to do certain things that make better photos.  The primary thing you can do is always pause and count to 3 during important moments. The key is to really take your time during precious moments.
